Hearse progress [update, airbrushing]

So yesterday I spent the day up at Gene Turner's shop (gtairbrushing.com) to continue work on what I've dubbed the "holy hearse". When finished, the owner intends to drive it from New York to California - making various stops along the way and youtubing it.

This should be some nice exposure. My side of the car (passenger) side is a few angels and "The Lord's Supper". So far I've had to freehand draw everything, lay it out in white, and then add color.

I'm figuring one more day of painting should finish it.

Follow me for updates!

  1. That's some pretty impressive work you've done. It somehow seems to add more of a spiritual feel to the hearse. They should make what your doing the standard everywhere.
